The dining experience at Diamonds Athuruga was truly amazing. The buffet offered a great selection of dishes, with influences from Asian, Mediterranean, and traditional Maldivian cuisines. I particularly enjoyed the themed night where dinner was served on the beach, surrounded by the stunning ocean view. The quality of the food was consistently impressive, made even better by the attentive service. I'd highly recommend trying the Maldivian dinner if you get a chance!

I had the pleasure of staying in both a beach bungalow and a water villa during my visit, and both accommodations were fantastic! The beach bungalow was just steps from the water, providing picturesque views of the lagoon, while the water villa offered direct access to the ocean. Each room was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean, with daily housekeeping that kept everything in pristine condition. The outdoor bathroom in the beach villa was a personal favorite, making it feel like a true escape.

The spa at Diamonds Athuruga was a highlight of my stay. I indulged in a massage that was both relaxing and rejuvenating, set against the tranquil backdrop of the water villas. The overall ambiance was serene, which enhanced my experience significantly. The availability of a variety of treatments made it easy to find the perfect option to unwind after a day of snorkeling and sunbathing.

I enjoyed a range of water sports during my stay, including kayaking and snorkeling. The house reef was teeming with marine life, allowing for very nice snorkeling experiences right off the beach. I joined guided snorkeling tours offered by the resort, which were well-organized and fun. The staff made sure we felt safe and were always cheerful, adding to the overall enjoyment of these activities.
